This refers to wi-fi connectivity in the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. This also refers to reports that in last calendar year, nearly 3 lakh attempts were made to access adult websites in British House of Parliament, information obtained under British Freedom of Information Act.
Please provide me with information on:-
1) How many attempts have been made by computers in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to access adult content in FY 2012-2013.
2) How many MPs have availed of the funds and attended the familiarisation workshop for using Apple iPad or Android-based Samsung Galaxy Tab for which they are provided Rs 50,000
3) What happens to the said Apple iPad or Android based Samsung Galaxy Tab once the MPs are no longer MPs.

Partial response from RS to this RTI on wifi in Parliament brought these responses:-
1) NIC informs that they have installed firewalls, IPS, IDS in Parliament network and all adult/porn sites are blocked off. In view of this no adult/porn site can be accessed in Secretariat.
2) Out of total 242 MPs in RS, 215 have joined the Scheme for financial entitlement for provision of computer equipment by utilising allocated funds for purchasing computer equipment and 194 have purchased them.
3) As per the Provisions under the Provision of Computer Equipment Members of RS and Officers Rules 2008 the computer equipment purchased by Members using their financial entitlement shall remain with him even after he ceased to be a Member.
I'm waiting for the response from LS and then plan to go into First Appeal. All help appreciated.
