Grievance Description | : | Receipts for tolls, bus tickets and other taxes paid on highways and roads in India by using thermal printers are often printed on thermal paper, rendering them invisible and useless after a few days. This practice is discontinued in the rest of the civilised world, also because it is now known that this sort of heat sensitive paper and thermal printing is carcinogenic. It is requested that this practice be stopped immediately and receipts be printed on ordinary paper using safer inks or technologies. |
